MILDURA RAILWAY.
The Premier of New South Wales (Sir John See) has communciated with Mr. Irvine suggesting that the opening of the Mildura line should be postponed from No-
vember 13 till the first week in December.
The New South Wales Parliament is now in session, and Sir John See, who is anxious to be present, urges that it will be very difficult for him to get away for the time which would be necessary for him to make the journey. Mr. Irvine referred the req- eust to Mr. Bent, who is the Minister in charge of the construction of the line, and Mr. Bent has communicated with the Rail- way Commissioners. A decision on the sub- ject will probably be arrived at in a day or
two.
