The Florence Irving, s., to arrive in the course of to-day, from Cooktown, Cardwell, Townsville, Bowen, Flat-top Island, and Keppel Bay, will resume her passage to Sydney, from the A.S.N. Co.'s wharf, to-morrow, Saturday morning, at 7

o'clock.

The Blackbird, s, which is expected to come to an anchor in the Brisbane Roads in the courso of this morning, being now due from Cooktown, calling at Townsville, will resumo her passage to Sydney with every despatch, a steamer leaving Barker's wharf at an early hour this morning to convey passengers to the steamer.

The Leichhardt, s., will be despatched for Keppel Bay, Flat-top Island, Bowen, Townsville, Cardwell, and Cooktown, to-morrow (Saturday) morning, at 9 o'clock.

The Queensland, s., due in the course of to- morrow (Saturday) from Rockhampton, Glad- stone, Bundaberg, and Maryborough, will be again despatched on the usual round of the Northern Ports on Tuesday afternoon, at ouo

o'clock.

The Bunyip, 8., from Brisbane, arrived at Rockhampton yesterday morning, at 9 o'clock.

The Lady Young, s., hence to Rockhampton, will reäumo her passage from Maryborough to Gladstone to-day.

The Jabberwock, auxiliary sciw steamer, arrived at Maryborough from Brisbane on Wed- nesday eveuing, at 7 o'clock.

The E. and A. Co.'s R.M.S. Normanby, hence to Singapore, via the usual ports of call, was due at Keppel Bay last evening.

The Western, s., from Brisbane, bound to Cooktown, is duo off Townsville at au early hour to-morrow (Saturday) morning.

The P. and 0. Co.'s R.M.S. China, from Point de Galle October 23, and bringing the mails from England to the date of September 23, ria Southampton, and to October 1 via Brindisi, arrivod off Glenelg at an early hour yesterday morning, and will reach Hobson'a Bay to-morrow (Saturday) afternoon. The Queonaland portion of the mails may be expected to bo delivered at Brisbane on or about Friday next.

The Barrabool, s., from Melbourne, is duo at Sydney in the course o£ to-night.

The Hero and Somerset, steamers, will pro- bably arrive at Melbourne, from Sydney, to- night.

Captain M'Lean reports that the Leichhardt, B., cleared Port Jackson Heads on Monday last at 5.20 p.m., passed Smoky Cape on Tuesday at 5.20 p.m., rounded Cape Moreton yesterday morning at 3 o'clock, and reached the A.S.N. Co.'s wharf at 8 o'clock, having experienced a fresh head wind and gloomy weather, with driz- zling rain, to port.

The Decapolis, barque, from Loudon, was towed up the river yesterday morning by tho Francis Cadell, steamer. Captniu Almond re- ports that the Decapolis left London July 19, the Downs on the 21st, and proceeded down Channel against a strong W.S.W. wind ; landed the pilot at Dartmouth on the 26th, samo wind continuing to blow until the 29th, when it fell calm for a day. After the calm tho wind came away light from the E.N.E. We carried the wind between E.N.E. and N.W. to the northern margin of tho N.E. trade, but it was always light, and the ship made but little piogiess. Wo had very little steady trade wind, and the little we had was always light. Lost tho N.E. trado in lat. 13° 10' N,, long. 28° 55' W. The trado wind was succeeded by the S.W. monsoon, which carried us to lat. 4" 37' N., and long. 23* 23' W. Hero wo fell in with tho S.E. trade, and stood to the W.S.VV. on the port tack, cross- ing the Equator on August 26, in loug. 29° 21' W. The wind hauling to tho S.S.W. aud S.,we were driven f.ir to the westward, sighting the coast of Brazil on AuguBt 31. Wo did not clear the region of the S.E. trade until September 15, when we were in lat. 20° 57' S.,aud long. 29° 11' W., and after experiencing windi fi om the N.E. to S.S.W. for thirty-one days ; from the latter position to Tasmania, we had the usual winda from N.W. to S.W., but generally moderato. Tasmania was sighted on the 26th October, with a S.E. wiud. Coming up the coast from Tas- mania, which occupied fourteen days, the winds were very unsteady, generally, however, prevail- ing from the northward. On the 2nd November a sharp squall from the southward was expe- rienced, the wind moderating again in four hours from its commencement ; and on the 6th, at 10 p.m., we had a very severe thunderstorm, with wind and incessant lightning for ubout four hours ; tho wind during this atmospheric dis- turbance was between N.W. andN.N.E., remain- ing steady at N.N.W. after the storm. Sighted Capo Moreton on the 7th November, 106 days from the English Channel.
