eluding 228 bales realised lid, and Beveral parcelo of vv ished fleece w ere quitted at prices rauging up to 20jd per lb 743 bales in all w ero disposed of by us Sheepskins were in fair demand, and wo cleared a good catalogue from 7-Jd to SJd for full fleeced, 6Jd to 7d for medium, and 4d to6d per lb for short grown and seedy lots -Leather Thu, market continues very dull, English advices hav ing served to \ ery considerably depreciate the V alue of sole, which huB hitherto been much more readily disposed ot than dressed leather , for the latter descnp tion values aro, if anything, lowei and without any apparent prospect of improvement, although it seems evident that at present prices tanners uro working at a loos W e quote as follows - Sole for shipment 9d to lOd , for trade purposes 9Jd to lOJd harness, medium, lid to 12Jd , best 13d to 14d, kip, medium, 15d to 17d, best, 17W to 19d , hoi so tweed 20d to 2 Id
