RELEASED PRISONERS OF WAR.
BARNARD.—Mr and Mrs W. J. Barnard, of
Weering, near Beerac, have received information that their son, Sergeant W. T. Barnard, is now at Cambridge, England, After being a prisoner of
war in Germany for 18 months Brown.—Sergeant L. C. Brown, of Woodend, who
has been a prisoner in Germany since April 11, 1917, has arrived safely in England. GUPPY.—Mr and Mrs H. J. Guppy, of Benalla,
have received a cable message from their eldest son, Company Quartermaster-Sergeant Les Guppy announcing his safe arrival in London from Ger-
many on December 26. He was taken prisoner at Bullicourt on April 11, 1917. He served at Gallipoli and in Egypt and France, Another son. Private P. Guppy, is on leave in Glass-
gow.
HONOURS.
MACKENZIE, Sister Lily, daughter of Mrs H.
Mackenzie, of Ballarat East, has been awarded the Royal Red Cross. She has been on active service for over three years in Egypt. France, and Italy.
