AUSTRALIAN CASUALTIES

105th LIST ISSUED.

25 DEATHS; 84 WOUNDED; 227 ILL.

The 105th list of casualties and disabilities sustained by the Australians   in the operations at the Dardanelles was issued by the Defence depart- ment on Saturday morning. It contains 341 new names. The deaths number 25, and of theso 10 were killed in action, and nine died of wounds. Six officers, one nurse, and 220 men are suffering from illness, and 84 men are reported wounded. In the following list all the Victorian names are given, but, with the exception of deaths, only the actual battle casual- ties affecting the other States are recorded. The following are the names

CORRECTION.

In "The Argus" of October 25 the name of Private V. L. Martin, Hawthorn, was included amongst the list of "killed in action." This was an error. Private Martin should have been amongst the list of those given as "ill—disembarked at Malta."
