PLEA FOR TRAINED NURSES.
TO Till* KDITOI! OP TUB AltQUS.
Sir,-There are ninny good nurses, exrcl lont yvotnon, endowed yvith a fund' of good sense, splendid ability, and energetic, yvho are denied the privilege of doin** military .»orle tliiougli some physical yvenknesa un- fitting them for nnothur climate. Those nurses, some of Hiern have held good posi- tions, arc not only willing, but anxious to fill positions in the military hospitals here, so that younger and stronger nurses are enabled to go abroad. It is very hard in- deed lo knoiv that our countiwomen in England nnd Scotland aro enduring such hardships in order that wc may live in com- fort, to say nothing of. luxury. ' Yet in a branch of women's yvork, which-means so much to the welfare of the wounded men, capable nurses have to stand aside, and see others with less experience mid ability i,.. positions in military hospitals.-Yours,
AN .EXPERIENCED NURSE.
