Supreme Criminal Court.
THURSDAY, MAY 31,1827
John Lynch, Patrick Geary, and Thomas Quinn, were indicted for a robbery in the house of Timothy Beard, at Carns' hill, and putting the inmates in bodily fear, on the
14th March last. Daniel McQuirk was also indicted as an accessary after the fact, in harbouring and maintaining the principals, Geary and Quinn-Guilty. The other pri- soners-Not Guilty.
The same prisoners were again indicted for a robberv in the house of Thomas Par- nell, at Richmond. The Jury acquitted McQuirk, and found the three other prisoners Guilty.-Remanded.
FRIDAY, JUNE l.
The following prisoners were severally placed at the bar, and received sentence :
Michael Cogan, and John H. Emerson, for forgery on the Bank of Australia-Death.
William Evans, for a larceny on board the ship Australia, and stealing sundry monies, the property of Captain Sleight- To be transported for 7 years.
Timothy Duffery, for a highway robbery on the person of Charles Griffiths, at New-
castle-Death.
John Palmer, and Elizabeth, his wife, for a larceny in the house of Mr. Barnett Levey To be transported for 7 years.
Patrick Geary, and Thomas Quinn, for a robbery in the house of Timothy Beard, publican, at Carns'-hill, and putting the inmates in bodily fear-Death.
John Lynch, for a robbery in the house of Thomas Parnell, publican, at Richmond, and putting the inmates in bodily fear-
