BY MR. BODENHAM,
On Friday, the 15th July, at 12 o'clock precisely,
upon the Ground, with a Marque and Refresh
rnents for the Public.
MR. BODENHAM has the honour
to announce, that he has received directions to SELL one of the most valuable and important PROPERTIES ever committed to his charge, and the sale to take place without any reserve whatever.
The Proprietor, RICHARD BROOKS, Esq. J. P. conceiving that it would militate against the im- provement of Australia, to allow this ground to re main any longer idle, offers it to the general com-
petition of the inhabitants.
The order of sale will proceed in lots, from No. I to lot 20, half an acre in each lot, or thereabouts,
most probably more.
The division of tho property has been by the very able Surveyor made to suit the purposes for erect- ing elegant villas or genteel residences upon the most modern style, namely, to afford an opportunity of erecting a house and pleasure garden ; com- prising also a lawn, kitchen garden, with espaliers and small pathways between,of 2 feet wide, covered vinery, with a seat at the termination, and all other domestic comforts, agreeable to the taste of the
purchasers.
The scenery of these allotments is so truly beau- tiful that it almost surpasses the limits of a mere advertisement to describe them ; the views are both picturesque and sublime, and the situation is parti- cularly inviting, commanding a view of tho con- tiguity to the residences of their Honors Mr. Justices STEPHEN and DOWLING, Colonel SHAD- FORTH, the Deputy-Commissary General LAIDLEY, JAMES BUSBY, Esq. and other Public Officers.
In the vista are seen the 'Heads of Port Jackson, Blue Mountains, the Cove, Government-house, the Domain, Woolloomoolloo, and Botany Bay, North
Shore, and the Town.
The rising and rapidly increasing prosperity of Australia, renders these allotments worthy of the particular attention of capitalists, and Mr. BODENHAM feels confident that in calling the attention of the numerous capitalists in this fifth quarter of the Globe, to what he conceives will prove, within five years, to be the Hampstead or Highgate of Sydney, he is only doing his duty to his employer, and to the numerous persons who have confided their estates to his care ; and that these allotments will, from their healthful and salubrious situation, com- bining the advantages of water and brick earth prove one of the best investments ever made fo
their offspring.
The whole Estate is cleared and stumped. Two plans with references, with illustrations for buildings and purchase, may be inspected at the Estate, Sur- veying, and Land Agency Offices of Mr. BODENHAM, who will proceed to show the allotments, by mutual appointment, prior to the day of sale.
Purchasers to pay their own conveyances.
Terms of payment —Ten per cent, deposit ; 6, 12, l8, and 241 months will be given for the residue, upon approved bill, the two last bearing Bank interest, with security upon the ground from each purchaser, or approved endorsed bills.
The title deeds may be inspected at the Offices of JAMES NORTON, Esq. Solicitor.
