Shipping Intelligence
ARRIVALS.
From London, Portsmouth, and the Cape of Good Hope, on Saturday last, having left Portsmouth on the 19th of February, the ship Eleanor (310 tons), Captain Cook, with 137 male prisoners, convicted of machine-breaking, &c Surgeon Superintendent, J. Stephen- son, Esq. The gnard consists of 29 men of different corps, 5 women, and 10 chil- dren, under the command of Licntcnant Stewart, 4Gth Regiment.
From the Isle of France and Hobart Town, on Sunday, the brig Bart (108 tons,) Captain Hindson. Lading, sugar.
From Newcastle, the same day, the schooner Schnapper.
Also, from Newcastle, the same day, the cutter Lord Liverpool.
DEPARTURE.
For Launceston, on Friday last, the
schooner Resolution.
For Newcastle, on Sunday last, the steamer Sophia Jane.
