BY MR. BODEN HAM,
On Friday, the 15th July, at 12 o'Clock precisely,
upon the Ground, with a Marque and Refresh-
ments for the Public.
]\/| R. BODENH AM has the honour J-TJ to announce, that he has received directions to SELL one of the most valuable and important PROPERTIES ever committed to his charge, and the sale to take place without any reserve whatever.
"The Proprietor, RICHARD BROOKS, Esq. J. P. conceiving that it would militate against the im- provement of Australia, to allow this ground tore main any longer idle, offers it to the general com- petition of the inhabitants.
The order of sale will proceed in lots, from No. 1 to lot 28, half an acre in each lot, or thereabouts,
most probably more.
The division of the property has been by the very able Surveyor made to suit the purposes for. erect- ing elegant villas or genteel residences upcai the most modern style, namely, to afford au opportunity of erecting a house and pleasure garden ; com- prising also a lawn, kitchen garden, with espaliers and small pathways between,of 2 feet wide, covered vinery, with a seat at the termination, and all other domestic comforts, agreeable to the taste of (ho
purchasers.
.The scenery of these allotments is sp truly beau- tiful that it almost surpasses the limits of amere advertisement to describo them ; the visws are both picturesque and sublime, and the situation ia parti- cularly inviting, commanding a view of the con- tiguity to the residences of their Honors Mr Justices STrpnFN and DOWLING, Colonel SHAD- FORTH, the Deputy Commissary General LAIDLEY, JAMES BUSHY, Esq. and other Public Officers.
In the vista are seen the Hoods of Port Jackson, Blue Mountains, the Cove, Government-house, the Domain, Woolloomooloo, and Botany Bay, North
Shore, and the Town.
The rising and rapidly increasing prosperity of Australia, renders these allotments worthy of the particular attention of capitalists, and Mr. BODENHAM feels confident that in calling the attention of the numerous capitalists in this fifth quarter of the Globe, to what he conceives will prove, witina five years, to be the Hampstead or Highgate of Sydney, , » he is only doing his duty to his employer, and to
, the numerous persons who have confided their " estates to his caro ; and that these allotments will,
from their hpalthful and salubrious situation, com- bining the advantages of water and brick earth prove one of the best investments ever made fo
their offspring.
Tho whole Estate is cleared and stumped. . Two plans with references, with illustrations for buildings and purchase, may be inspected at the Estate, Sur- veying, and Land Agency Offices of Mr. BODENHAM, who will proceed to shew the allotments, by mutua appointment, prior to the day of sale.
