ALLOTMENTS OF LAND ON EMU PLAINS,

AND BUILDING ALLOTMENTS IN THE TOWNSHIPS OF EMU AND CLARENCE

TOWN.

HIS Excellendy the Governor directs it to be

notified, that Allotments of Land, containing about Fifty Acres each, situate on Emu Plains, are open for Sale, as well as Building Allotments in the Townships of Emu on the said Plains, and Cla-

rence Town on Williams' River.

Persons desirous, therefore, of purchasing in either of these situations, are requested to apply at the Office of the Surveyor General, where Charts will be seen, and every information afforded, so as to enable the Parties to make their application in the prescribed form, in order that, if approved, the Land may be put up to Sale according to the exist- ing Regulations.

Assistant Surveyor Abbott, stationed at Emu, will also exhibit a plan of the Farms and Town- ships, and afford every information respecting them.

A STEELYARD for weighing Carts, and a

PUG MILL for cutting or working Clay for Bricks, to be Sold by Public Auction, at the Police Office, Sydney, on Thursday the 9th day of August next, at 12 o'Clock Noon.

The abovementioned Articles may be seen at the Brick Field, on the South Head Road, near

the new Gaol.

Three Months' Credit will be given on ap- proved bills.

Any further information required may be ob- tained at the Office of the Collector of Inter-

nal Revenue.

FREE FEMALE SERVANTS.

Sydney, 7th August, 1832.

HIS Excellency the Governor di-

rects it to be notified, with reference

to the Notice dated the 2d of April last, and published in the Government Gazette of the 4th of that month, that a ship with free females, proposed to be engaged as house servants, from Cork and Dublin, may be daily expected to arrive in Port Jackson, and that it is desirable that per- sons intending to engage any of them should either personally or by their agents immediately communicate on the subject with the Board for the assignment of ser- vants, at their office in Macquarie street, who will afford to parties applying such information as may be required respect- ing the qualifications and characters of the females as far as the same shall be

known.
