WHEREAS, JAMES ROWE, a
Native of this Colony, (age not exactly known), height five feet six inches, complexion sallow, hair brown, marked with letters on both arms A. C. on one, S. R . on the other, hired a Vessel, known by the name of the Mary Ann, a constant trader between the Hawkesbury and Syd- ney for the last three years, belonging to Mr Thomas Huxley, of the Hawkesbury,--the said James Rowe having been entrusted with several quantities of grain to sell for different persons, has, it is believed, sold the grain entrusted to him, and absconded with the money.
The said James Rowe has lately returned from Van Dieman's Land, where he had been sent for three years. The sum of Eight Pounds Sterling will be paid by Mr. Thomas Huxley to any party apprehending the said James Rowe, and safely lodging him in either of Her Majesty's Gaols, or other place of safety.

Stolen or Strayed,
ON or about the 20th of December
last, from the Run of Mr. John Hickey, Hunter's River, a 'Dark Brown Filly, about
fourteen hands high, long tail, two hind fetlocks white, streak on forehead branded NC on shoulder, formerly the property of the late Nicholas Connoly. She is supposed to be in, the neighbourhood of Maitland, or returned to her old Run, at Mr. Pringle's Station, Liverpool Plains. If strayed, a reward of £2 will be given, and if stolen, a re- ward of £10, upon application to Mr. Wilkison, publican, of Maitland, or Mr. Joseph Swales, of Morpeth.
