TWO N.Z YACHTS

WELLINGTON (NlZ.), Mon.
A R.N.Z.A.F. plane reported at 4 p.m. to-day sighting Aurora, one of the missing, yachts in the ill-fated'Lyttelton ocean race.
Hope, which was sighted and mistaken for the "Aurora,' arrived in Wellington last'night.
The aircraft reported that the "Aurora"'.'seemed all'right" and was'proceeding; .
-- Argo, of Wellington,' is still missing.* ' She was carrying a
crew of six.
Husky, of Nelson, and her crew of'four is believed'lost.
' Wreckage of the Husky was washed ashore at Ohiro Bay ye's terday.
Wreckage, believed to be the deckhouse of one of the missing yachts, was seen off the north- east coast of Maryborough shortly after midday to-day. ' A launch has left to investigate.
The position of the four yachts for whom fears were held is:
Argo (carrying crew of six). -Still missing.
?Hope, arrived Wellington last
night with crew.
Auroro (crew of three)'. Sighted to-day, j
i-HiWky (crew'of^fotir).-Wreck- age washed ashore. Crew be- lieved lost.
The RJV.Z.'A.F. plane said the Auroro was at that time 13 miles
off Castlepoint, about half way between Capt Pallier and Cape Kidnappers on the North Is- land's tricky east coastline.
Her home port is Dunedin.
Eight aircraft have covered more than 50,000 square miles in their search for the missing
yachts.
