TAKE NOTICE that Licenses for the
keep of Cattle and Dogs, and use of Carts and Carriages, within the limits of the City during the year 1881, will be issu- ed by the Clebk to the City Council at the Council Office, Town Hall, Perth, daily, Sundays excepted, between the hours of 9 a.m. and 4 p.m.
In pursuance of the provisions of " The Municipal Institutions Further Amendment Act, 1880," all Carts used within the limits of the City are required to be licensed by the City Council, and for each license a fee of 10s. will be charged.
From and after the 10th January next, the owners of all unlicensed Cattle, Dogs, Carts, or Carriages, will be prosecuted.

ÍN PURSUANCE of the provisions of the
said Act Notice is hebebt given that the Council of the City of Perth has pro- vided the lands named hereunder as places for the deposit of sewage, soil, dung, filth, ashes, dust, and rubbish.

abutting upon Wanneroo Road, Bul-
wer and Vincent Streets.

Perth Drainage Rate Act, 1875," and " The Perth Drainage Rate Act, 1875, Amendment Act, 1878" the Council of the City of Perth doth order that a Special Rate shall be made and levied of three pence (3d.) in the pound for each half of the year 1881, upon the ratepayable value of all houses, stores, shops, mills, tenements, and other buildings, pieces of land, allot- ments, gardens and other premises within the City.

AT the adjourned monthly meeting of the
Guildford Municipal Council held on December 14th, it was decided that a Genebal Rate of Five per cent, be struck and levied upon all rateable property within the Municipality for the ensuing
