On the 3rd inst , at Tamrookum, Logan River, by the Rev. H. O. Irwin, Charles Robert Haly, Esq., of Taabinga, Burnett District, third surviv- ing son of the late Lieut.-Colonel Haly, to Rosa, third daughter of the late Thomas Harpur, Esq., of Cecil Hills near Liverpool.
On the 7th inst., by special license, at Kangaroo Point, by the Rev. J. G. Millard, Wesleyan Minister, Mr. A. L. Noble, of Ipswich, to Caroline, eldest daughter of Mr. Alfred Slaughter, of Kan- garoo Point.

DEATHS.
At Brisbane, on the 7th inst., after a short illness, Mary Ann, eldest daughter of Mr. Joseph Brennan, late of Ipswich, deeply regretted by all
who knew her.
On the 18th ult., at the Steam Packet Hotel, Ipswich, Mr. Malcolm McLean, aged 49, deservedly respected and esteemed by all who knew him : he has left a wife and large family to deplore the loss
of a faithful husband and affectionate father.
