METHYLATED SPIRIT DRUNK.

George Andrews, aged 53 years, labourer, was charged at the Fitzroy Court on Thursday with   having on October 17 been drunk and with having drunk methylated spirit, contrary to the Poisons     Act. On the bench with Mr. W. G. Smith, P.M. were Mrs. J. Swan and Messers, A. Munsor and J. A. Campbell, J. P.'s. In the first charge he was fined £1, in default imprisonment for a week, and on the second charge £5, in default imprisonment for a month
