OLD NANCY'S
GLORY
BOX
INTERESTING LETTERS.
The following Fun Children wrote very interest-
ing letters to Old Nancy. She sends them all her fondest love and greetings:—
Bertha Ramsey (Clydesdale)—Your name was en-
tered in the fun book some time ago. I am now looking forward to contributions from you: Doreen McKeown (Heskett)—Thank you for the photograph of the snow. It is very beautiful; Howard Evans (Brucknell); Bob Sanderson (Brighton); Alec Draf- fin (Capdigan); Margaret Bayer (Tongala East); you need to take more pains with the rhythm of your verse. Read other poems and try to make your verse "sing" as they do; Len Buchanan (New Gisborne); Margery Archer (Lyndhurst)—Your verse was nearly good enough for the Glory Box; but "Good bye" does not rhyme with "Hurrah,"
does it? Keep on trying; Murna Edlin (Deepdene) —Blue Wren sends his love to Tibby. Don't forget that all verse must be quite original; Shirley Beale (Finley, N.S.W.)—Don't be faint-hearted about your verse writing. Keep on trying; Leila Baldwln (Carlton): Lyle Gray (Sale): Ada Stewart (Diggora West)—Your word square goes into the Glory Box; Pauline Hewlings (Moonee Ponds):
Joline Davis (Armadale)—Your sketch is rather too careless and scratchy. Take more pains, and I am sure you will improve.
WELCOME TO THE FUN FAMILY.
