brief report:

Ladiea-I began this year at Glenelg with a small number ot pupils; this number, however, has al leady nearly doubled itself. The school, a*, those present mav see, is ideally situated for íesident pupils in particular, and it is this department which 1 Avish lo develop. The influences of such a home-school ¡should be of the highest moral benefit to girls obliged to leave the patentai root for educational purposes. That it is a ','home from home" 1 know my present boarders, three in number, will testify. I desire to thank those parents who have already entrusted their children to my care. Good work has been done throughout the year in studies, both menial and physical; especially with the little ones has it been my aim to train the powers of observation. Prizes have been awarded for a certain percentage of marte,, obtained in the school examinations, and not for
