SHIP NEWS.
On Wednesday night put back the new Schooner, Governor King, built by Messrs. Kable and Underwood, having been out four days. Off Jarvoise's Bay a leak was disco- vered, which gained so fast as to require everv exertion of the crew. Upon being hove down, several apertures appeared on each side, but close to the keel on the lar- board side a trunnel was found open, which
principally occasioned the leak; this, when the vessel was launched, had admitted a quan- tity of mud which hardened and remained undisturbed until washed out by the way of
the vessel. A number of c u kers have been
kept constantly at work upon her, and she will be ready again to sail for the Southward on Monday or Tuesday.
