in distress for Men to proceed on his destined voyage, and having His Excellency the Governor's Permission for that pur- pose, requests and desires Americans in this port forthwith to apply to him, when they will immediately receive a Bounty on En- tering, and meet such suitable Encourage- ment as they shall merit.
The ship will sail positively on or before

We whose Names are hereunto subscribed Sureties far Sarah Bellamy for her due Administration of the effects of Mr. James Bloodworth, deceased, do hereby caution the Public not to purchase any part of such effects from the said Sarah Bellamy, as such effects so purchased must be returned, and the Pur- chaser abide by the loss : and such as have already made Purchasers are hereby directed to return the articles ;-Those withholding any article already made Purchase of will be prosecuted as the law directs.

APPRENTICES.
Ten Boys, from 10 to 14 years of age, will
be received by Messrs. Kable and Under- wood, as Apprentices to the business of ship wright. They are to be Articled, according to their ages, for a term of three, five or seven years ; will be found in cloathing as well as board ; or, should the parents or friends prefer it, an allowance for cloathing will be allowed, and which will be increased every year to the expiration of the term, and the degree of encouragement requisite.
Such persons as have sons whom they wish to be taken on trial, are requested to apply to
either of the above copartners.
NOTICE
Whereas James Metcalf, resident of the
Hawkesbury. having some time ago made Proposals to F. Meurant for a Farm, which was and still remains the sole property of the said F. Meurant, situate at the Hawkesbury, such Pro- posals being acceded to, and Possesion as Tenant given to the said Metcalf until the term specified in the Conditions should expire, or the full and entire sum paid ; in default whereof, the Farm and Premises were to revert to T. Meurant, the Proprietor, and the surn already paid considered
as a satisfaction for the Rent.
This Notice is intended therefore to prevent any Assignment on such Land being given or re- ceived as a security for any sum or sums of mo- ney whatever ; and strictly to caution the afore- said James Metcalf against holding possession of the said Lands after the 30th day of December next, or putting any further Crop in the ground than what is now coming off : Otherwise he will he prosecuted for false-possession

Also, from 1000 to 1500 bushels of good barley, not to be threshed out until February
next.
