Leeds, Yorkshire, to Blanche B., youngest daughter       of the late Charles Beal, of Varna, Lorne, Bleak- house, Mount Gellibrand.

at Hitchin, Hertford, England, Misses M. Burke   and Maud Thackthwaite fell asleep. R.I.P.

Joseph Hyams, the beloved brother of Hyam, Phillip, and John Hyams, and Mr. Ovas of this city, aged 57 years. May his soul rest in peace.  

JOPE.—On the 4th inst., at his late residence, Beau-  

fort, after a brief illness, John Jope, aged 63.

LITTLEWOOD.—On the 6th inst., at Morvan, High-  

street, Malvern, Henry Thomas Littlewood, late   of Madowla, St. Kilda road, the dearly beloved   husband of Agnes Littlewood, aged 67.

villa, Evans-street, Port Melbourne, suddenly,     James Heron M'Murray, aged 49 years.  

PATCHELL.—On the 7th inst., at her late residence,  

Fingask, Stanley-avenue, Auburn, Catherine     Bruce, relict of the late James Patchell, of London- derry, Ireland, and daughter of the late William   Whyte, of Fingask, Perthshire, Scotland, aged 62   years. "So He giveth His beloved sleep." Home   papers please copy.  

POWER.—On the 5th inst., at her residence, Burke-    

road, Hawthorn, Elizabeth Sophia, widow of the     late Thomas Power, aged 61 years. Deeply  

regretted.    

THOMPSON.—On the 6th inst., at his uncle's station,    

Glengower, William Francis, youngest son of   Margaret Thompson, aged 14 years. Accidentally      

killed by a fall from a horse.

THORNHILL.—On the 3rd inst., at Maryborough,          

Sarah, the eldest daughter of John and Margaret  

Thornhill, aged 16 years and 11 months.
