His Majesty's ship Investigator, was brought
on shore and interred.
Last Sunday night a fire broke out in the
dwelling of John Martin, blacksmith, at
Hawkesbury, by which the house was in a short
time reduced to ashes.
Sydney Wharf --- Yesterday morning
four boats came in from Killing Point, with a
quantity of vegetables and maize some pota-
toes, a number of very fine pumpkins, and a
few articles of poultry. Vegetables being
plentiful sold cheap, maize dull of sale at
Store-house prices, potatoes 10s. to 12s. per
100lbs, large pumpkins 6s. to 5s. per dozen,
ful-grown fouls 3s. half-grown ditto 1s, 6d.

On Wednesday night put back the new
Schooner, Governor King, built by Messrs.
Kable and Underwood, having been out four
days. Off Jarvoise's Bay a leak was disco-
vered, wh cb gained so fast as to require
everv exertion of the crew. Upon being
hove down, several apertures appeared on
each side, but close to the keel on the lar-
board side a trunnel was found open, which
principally occasioned the leak; this, when
the vessel was launched, had admitted a quan-
tity of mud which hardened and remained
undisturbed until washed out by the way of
