Island the American Ship Union, Capt. Pen-
dleton, with Lieutenant Governor Foveaux,

ceived on board an extensive supply of goods,
part of the Betley's lnvestment, for the ac-
commodation of the island, on Mr. Lord's
account, under consignment to his Agent
there.
Arrived on Tuesday the Endeavour, Mr.
Oliphant master, Kable and Underwood own-
ers, from Bass's Straits with 3300 skins and a
small quantity or oil---out 3 months.

ber for New Years Islands, where one of her
hunting party was opposed and severely bitten
by a large seal. The Charles of Boston hove
to sight the 12th of December, and landed
some of her hands there.
In Kent's Bay Mr. Oliphant found the
Good Intent, Barton, whose gang had been
very successful, having then procured be-
tween 8 and 9000 skins. Mr. Oliphant was
likewise informed, that the Good intent had
picked up Druce and his associates, who were
safely disposed of, and would shortly be
brought to Sydney.
