R.S. LEAGUE'S MOVE EX-SOLDIERS' PREFERENCE The Federal Capital Territory Branch of the Returned Soldiers League is to take the extreme action of appealing to the Senate of Parliament in connection with returned soldier preference in the Territory. Preference to men who donned neither khaki nor blue in the Great War, to the exclusion of those who did, is causing keen dissatisfaction to members of the Returned Sailors and Soldiers' League, in the Federal Capital Territory. Complaint has frequently been made that preference to ex-soldiers is often a phrase and not a fact, and that in Canberra the policy of preference to returned men, as enunciated by the Commonwealth Government, has not been fulfilled in its entirety by the Federal Capital Commission.
