Her husband was away, and the charred remains of the deceased were found in a room adjoining the bedroom on the premises at the rear of the Boorhaman Hotel, of which the deceased's daughter was the licensee. The deceased was subject to fits of weakness, and it supposed that she arose from bed after retiring, and was sitting close to the fire, as was her habit, when she seized with a fit of syncope. Her clothes then caught fire, and death was due t shoock from burning. A verdict was returned to that effect. The deceased was 58 years old. |
