In Brisbano roads on Friday, the 7th August
after n very excellent run of 81 days from I lum
burg, she having sailed from Hint place on tho
17th of May last. Sho is nullor tho command of
Captain E. Jungo, who, we tuny mention, was lier
muster on lier previous visit to this port. On
to our shores. They nro limier tho medical
charge of Ur. Geiger. On board this vessel, as
on board Ute Alster, there hus boen but little
sickness during tho passage, and no contagious
or infectious disease. There wero six deaths, all
of Infants, who died ofniiilndiosincldenlal to child-
hood". Three of Hie deaths wero from convulsions,
two from atrophy, or wasting nwuy, ami ono from
consumption. There were no births, In tho

Dietrich. La Knchelle brings 40 nuns, of thc
celebrated Negretti breed, consigned to .Mr, Tam,
of South Brisbane, nnd 2500 fire-bricks ns ballast.
Mr. T. C. llctissler is the Brisbane agent for both
tho Alster; and Lu ltoeholle. Dr. Hobbs, tho
health olllccr, visited and inspected thc above
vessels on Saturday-the 8th August,' ami ns he
found all tho passengers in a. perfectly healthy
state, he passed the ships with clean bills ol'

The German ship La Rochelle, 827 tons, arrived
in Brisbane roads on Friday, the 7th August
after a very excellent run of 81 days from Ham
burg, she having sailed from that place on the
17th of May last. She is under the command of
Captain E. Junge, who, we may mention, was her
master on her previous visit to this port. On
to our shores. They are under the medical
charge of Dr. Geiger. On board this vessel, as
on board the Alster, there has been but little
sickness during the passage, and no contagious
or infectious disease. There were six deaths, all
of infants, who died of maladies incidental to child-
hood. Three of the deaths were from convulsions,
two from atrophy, or wasting away, and one from
consumption. There were no births. In the
saloon there is only one pasisenger - Mrs. Amelie
Dietrich. La Rochelle brings 40 rams, of the
celebrated Negretti breed, consigned to Mr, Tam,
of South Brisbane, and 2500 fire-bricks as ballast.
Mr. T. C. Heussler is the Brisbane agent for both
the Alster; and La Rochelle. Dr. Hobbs, the
health officer, visited and inspected the above
vessels on Saturday the 8th August,,and as he
found all the passengers in a perfectly healthy
state, he passed the ships with clean bills of
LA ROCHELLE.
